It's called a “bowl.”

It seems, well, a little disturbing that we as a people can only conceive of eating chips from a one pound package. Either we are too lazy to use a bowl, too stupid to see an obvious solution, or too weak-willed to choose a method of eating that does not involve eating OUT OF A BAG.

Do you know who eats out of bags? Horses. Are you a horse? If not, why not use a bowl (or even a plate)?

You are an officer in the United States Air Force. This is not a problem of anyone's making but your own. Here is what I took from your video:

You are a United States Air Force jet pilot who bought a bag of chips. It's noisy.

Your solution to the noise was not to pour the chips into a bowl or onto a plate or even onto a napkin. No. That thought did not cross your mind.

Your solution was to get a decibel meter and do a sound comparison between one bag of chips and another.

You are clearly familiar with using tools in connection with eating chips. See this bag clip? Solved the “stale chip” problem.

But you could not figure out a way to eat chips without the bag making noise in spite of the fact that you have cupboards in my kitchen that hold bowls and plates. Cupboards, I might add, not unlike the one you keep the noisy bag in.

And now you demand that the makers of this bag of chips change their production practices because you don't want to change your eating practices by involving plates and bowls in your snacking.
